A major grant from the Salah Foundation has transformed Holy Cross Health’s Heart Failure Clinic, funding a full renovation, expanded services, and improved patient outcomes. With new exam rooms, advanced diagnostic tools, and enhanced staffing, the clinic now delivers earlier interventions and more comprehensive care, resulting in a readmission rate nearly half the national average.

At Holy Cross Health, we are committed to being a compassionate and transforming healing presence for all who seek care. Guided by the spirit of the Gospel and grounded in our core values of reverence, justice, integrity, and stewardship, we strive every day to honor the dignity of every person we serve. Thanks to your generous support, we have made significant advancements in cardiac care through the expansion of our Heart Failure Clinic. This vital project came to life because of the Salah Foundation’s philanthropic investment, and we’re proud to share the impact of that partnership.
Your grant enabled the renovation and modernization of our clinic, which now includes five fully equipped exam rooms, a cardiopulmonary exercise lab, dedicated consultation and research spaces, ADA-compliant restrooms, and a welcoming waiting area for patients and families. In addition, your gift supported clinic operations and made it possible to bring on an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, enhancing both continuity and access to care. These improvements have translated into measurable outcomes for our patients. With expanded services including IV diuretic treatments, structural heart procedures, and participation in clinical research. We’ve achieved a heart failure readmission rate of just 13%, compared to the national average of 23%. This progress reflects earlier interventions, more comprehensive care, and greater opportunities for recovery.
The Salah Foundation’s partnership has not only strengthened our heart failure program, it has also empowered us to serve more people with excellence and compassion. Your commitment has helped us save lives, restore hope, and build a healthier South Florida. We are grateful for your belief in our mission and for the legacy of healing you continue to create.
