A pivotal gift from the Salah Foundation has helped Alexandra’s Angels support one of the nation’s premier neuroscience institutes in its efforts to advance MS research. Together, they are accelerating progress toward measurable repair and long-term treatment.
For over a decade, Alexandra’s Angels has worked to accelerate breakthroughs in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders. Through the support of the Salah Foundation, the organization has provided critical funding to the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, one of the top research and clinical centers for neurology and psychiatry in the United States.
The Weill Institute is known for its integrated approach to treating complex neurological conditions. Its work brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and patients under one roof, driving discovery with direct clinical relevance. The Salah Foundation’s investment is helping to fund research aimed at validating biological markers for remyelination—a key indicator of the body’s ability to repair nerve damage in MS.
Thanks to the generous contributions from the Salah Foundation, Alexandra’s Angels has equipped the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences with essential funding for research aimed at developing treatments and finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders. Alexandra’s Angels is committed to biologically validating potential biomarkers designed to measure remyelination and repair in MS. We have no words to express our gratitude to Noreen Salah Burpee and other board members for their support.
This kind of support enables research that moves the needle. It helps turn promising science into real-world outcomes for people living with MS.
