
Dr. Michael Verneris, The Barton Family Endowed Chair of Bone Marrow Transplant, and Director of Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy for the Children’s Hospital Colorado Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
Dr. Verneris conducts research studies that are aimed at developing cellular therapy to reduce leukemia recurrence by enhancing immune recovery and by more effectively treating sites of leukemia.
The Salah Foundation has given more than $1 million during the organization’s eight-year partnership with Children’s Colorado to support the research of cellular therapy.

Dr. Lia Gore, Ergen Family Chair in Pediatric Oncology, Section Head, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT, medical director of the Children’s Hospital Colorado Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and Experimental Therapeutics.
Dr. Gore conducts research focused on phase I clinical trials and Clinical-Translational Research in novel cancer treatments, with a particular emphasis on leukemias, sarcomas, and pediatric brain tumors.
The Salah Foundation has generously donated to Children’s Colorado to support Dr. Gore’s Experimental Therapy research.

Pediatric experts in the Department of Pediatric Urology at Children’s Hospital Colorado like Dr. Wilcox provide care for children in the Rocky Mountain region and around the world with congenital and acquired urologic conditions.
The Salah Foundation has donated $300,000 in support of Dr. Wilcox’s research in pediatric urology.

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Program at the Colorado Fetal Care Center located at Children’s Hospital Colorado has the capabilities and expertise to treat both mom and baby for virtually any fetal condition – before, during and after birth.
The Salah Foundation has given $200,000 to the Colorado Fetal Care Center Research Fund to support the efforts of researchers at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
